Enrollment

  1. You need to have a high school diploma or a G.E.D.
  2. A copy of your Driver’s License , Military ID
  3. A copy of your DD-214 if applicable.
  4. You will need to complete the Arkansas Welding Academy Application and send it to AWA with a non-refundable $100.00 registration fee.

Skill Training

AWA is located at 1920 N. Redmond Rd. Jacksonville, AR 72076. 

AWA has one campus.

AWA accepts cash, corporate checks, money orders, traveler’s checks and company purchase orders.

  • AWA will acknowledge your enrollment by mail with a confirmation packet that includes your start dates.

  • AWA requires a $100.00 registration fee before we can process your application.
  • Contact the financial services office to make arrangements of financial assistance.

  • Provide a copy of a state or federally issued picture ID.

Your enrollment form should be submitted at least 30 days prior to the date you intend to begin classes should you be accepted.

  • The Master Pipe and Structural Welding Program
  • OSHA 30 Construction Safety and Health
  • OSHA 10 Construction Safety and Health 
  • Two to four weeks in advance of the start date is recommended to assure a reservation in the class that you wish to take.
